About the Author
Paul Cook is the Principal Engineer in the Technical Regulations Department of the IEE. He is closely involved in the preparation of IEE Wiring Regulations/BS 7671 and related publications. He was trained as an electricity distribution engineer, but for most of his career has been in electrical contracting in various roles from design engineer to business manager. He is a chartered engineer and a member of both the IEE and CIBSE.
